I was referred to Dr. Greenberg by my dentist for an emergency tooth extraction, and later for a complete dental implant. This tooth also happened to be my very front tooth, so you can say it was very important to me for the procedure to be done right and fast. If you are are going through a similar situation, especially for an implant procedure, I am sure you will understand that there’s quite a bit of surgery involved, and it’s a very stressful journey that can easily take up to a year or longer. You’d definitely want to make sure you have the best possible doctor, and supporting medical team, with state-of-the-art facilities to get you through it — preferably all in one place! I was very lucky to be referred to Dr. Greenberg. He is one of the most prominent and respected maxillofacial surgeons in NYC, or arguably in the country. With a little bit of web-research, you can see that this fact is well supported by a long history of experience, expertise, and academic contributions in this field. However, my review here is fully based on personal experience. My implant journey started from the extraction of my front tooth and required further bone grafting to replace a good deal of bone loss. So, I can truly attest to the fact that every step was performed very efficiently and to perfection. But more than that, Dr. Greenberg is very aware of his patients and what they are going through. He is gentle, extremely professional, very transparent about what is being done and why, and makes sure that you are very well taken care of before, during, and after every step of the process. On that note, his staff are just the best and are so helpful from the moment you walk into the office. I especially want to thank Diana, Dr. Greenberg’s medical assistant, that truly treated me like a member of her own family sitting on that chair, and believe me there were times that I seriously needed some babysitting to get through my procedures. 🙂 Also, to mention again, Dr. Greenberg’s facilities are complete and very modern — with everything you would need to get through your implant in one location. This is very important! An implant is not an everyday dental procedure that can be done in an everyday dentist office. This is a serious surgical procedure and requires hospital-grade facilities, medical team, needed equipment, and protocols that (God forbid) can potentially save your life. Be very aware of any doctor or facility that offers anything less than that and/or you suspect is trying to cut corners. I finished the last step of my implant with Dr. Greenberg about 10 days ago, and my gums have completely healed now. Altogether, I had five visits, and three of them included surgical procedures. Every one of those went very smoothly, with no bruising, infections, or any other complications. The implant was perfectly placed, straight as an arrow! And ready to be crowned soon by my dentist. To finish, I hardly ever write reviews for anything in my life, but this is too big of a decision that can really affect one’s life and wellbeing. Hopefully, this review would make it a little easier to find the right Dr. for you.

Went for removal of a small cyst from lower gum. Everything was explained clearly, the procedure went smoothly, and I was informed that the biopsy showed nothing serious a week later. Very pleasant experience.

Dr. Greenberg and his staff was very helpful and attentive. They explained the procedure and made sure I was comfortable every step. I was very nervous going in but after the surgery I felt comfortable with minimal pain even to this day with the stitches I still currently have in. He did an amazing job.

Dr. Greenberg is a miracle worker. I went to him for a general tooth extraction, which went according to plan. He also did surgery on my jaw bone at Mt. Sinai The surgery could not have gone any better. He is very caring, considerate and lets you know everything that will happen. He even tries his best to get you what you want, for example, my insurance originally declined the surgery, however, Dr. Greenberg was able to fight for me to get the surgery. Overall, a very knowledgable and warm human being. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Also, his staff/receptionists are very nice and considerate!

Would like to start with being warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff that promptly registered me as a first time visitor. My appointment was originally scheduled for 4pm and was on dental chair at 3:15 ready for surgery. I was seen fast and courteous as Dr Greenberg started to explain that he would be able to save my tooth from extraction. This news was exciting to me as some dentist would just consider to extract. Small dosages if anesthesia was given to me at a timely matter. Procedure was done and I am a happy customer. Highly recommend to all…Staff was awesome!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Greenberg and his staff. I had an accident on a Sunday evening and called him to get an ER recommendation. He said “how quickly can you get to Madison and 48th Street” I was so surprised, he met me that evening, took Xrays, put braces on my mouth and capped the cracked teeth. If he hadn’t done surgery when he did I would have scarred. He really saved me.

Dr Greenberg was professional and knowledgeable. Mio, who assisted, was professional and compassionate with excellent bedside manner. The only drawback was that I had a nearly 3 hour apointment for one extraction. That said, I’m appreciative to have been seen last minute and they were clearly very busy.

“Beyond our imagination for excellence!”My dentist recommended Dr. Greenberg as being excellent and we were amazed at how wonderful an oral surgeon AND human being he is. His staff was also great. My husband had two extractions urgently and the whole procedure was quick and as pain-free as possible. Dr. Greenberg gave us his cell phone number as we went into the weekend in case we had concerns and he delayed his going home to address a specific issue my husband had. “a real professional and a gentleman”Dental appointments are my l;east favorite activity, most especially for something major such a the surgical removal of a broken crown and an implant of a post into the bone. That was the purpose of my first visit to Dr. Greenberg on the recommendation of my general practice dentist. I could not have been more satisfied with the entire experience and Dr. Greenberg. The procedure, while unavoidably uncomfortable, was virtually pain free; the staff is terrific.

“Dr Greenberg saved my teeth”I trusted Dr Greenberg with my jaw surgery because of his obvious expertise and incredible credentials and that was after consulting with over 10 other top rated surgeons…since then Dr Greenberg has saved my teeth as well as worked on other issues I’ve had, on numerous occasions unrelated to post op care. He’s always willing to accommodate a patient in need and consults on diagnosis and treatment in a way that’s reassuring and informative, making you feel cared for and respected. I’ve never had trouble making appointments in his office and billing is always quick and accurate. Since my jaw surgery in 2012 I’ve been recommending this practice to everyone I know who’s considering surgery…I can honestly say I don’t quite trust any other medical professional as much as I trust Dr Greenberg.
