Our operating suite—one of the few that exists within a Manhattan dental office—provides a hospital-style sterile environment to help ensure the success of these procedures. In collaboration with restorative dentists, the Center provides the finest functional and cosmetic results for our patients.
The majority of these dental implant and site development procedures are performed in the operating suite at our office. For some patients undergoing complex bone grafting or who have special medical considerations, in-hospital surgery may be preferable.

Dr. Alex M. Greenberg, DDS

 Dr. Greenberg is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has been in private practice since 1987. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, and is affiliated with the following New York City hospitals: New York-Presbyterian, Mount Sinai, Beth Israel and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt.
Dr. Greenberg is also an international researcher and educator and is fellowship-trained and extensively experienced in dental implants and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Greenberg has authored many professional articles as well as two of the most comprehensive contemporary textbooks on oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants.
Dr. Greenberg’s treatment philosophy integrates his extensive training in dental implant procedures and advanced educational experiences in both Europe and the United States with his research and academic interests.

The Center provides a wide range of procedures involving the placement of dental implants, as well as numerous reconstructive procedures required for site development necessary for the placement and long-term success of implants in certain patients with insufficient bone or gum.
